MONDAY MOMENTS WITH MICHELLE – I Gotta Guy!

Welcome to Episode 11!

 

At one time or another, we, as homeowners, require the services of qualified trades people. Your hot water tank blows, your furnace quits, you want to renovate parts of your home or yard. Well, I GOTTA GUY!

 

As a homeowner myself, in order to maintain or improve my living space, I have required such services over the years. My most trusted and valuable asset has been my plumber whom my husband found by looking in an old version of the Yellow Pages for Lake Country/Vernon. Yes, an actual book!

 

Our working relationship with Aaron, owner of St. John Plumbing began with a simple plumbing leak and grew over the years into a whole new plumbing and bathroom renovation and new furnace and air conditioner. Aaron introduced us to Baths by Design for bathroom fixtures who in turn led us to a shower door supplier and installer, Arden Tile for the tiles, and Absolut Stone & Granite for the countertops.

 

Aaron introduced us to John Zubeck who is an absolute drywall guru and Dale Lester, a specialist in finishing carpentry who built us a new linen closet for our new bathroom. This renovation was completed seamlessly with very little disruption to our household.

 

CKLM Electrical Contracting is the guy I always recommend to my clients. The owner, Cameron is pleasant and knowledgeable. He is licensed by Technical Safety BC to perform Silver Label inspections and upgrades. I have also used his services myself from time to time.

 

Did I mention yard renovations? Have I GOTTA GUY for you! Trent Dreger of LMC Equipment is the guy to call! He specializes in moving earth. He and his crew are also known for building retaining walls, septic systems and more! I personally hired him to renovate my yard. His crew brought their machines, built a new wall and a new outside staircase, plus…They were all friendly, professional and FUN to work with!

 

Affordable Irrigation is the company to call if you need to repair or replace your current irrigation system. Otto is the guy, and boy, does he know his stuff! His friendly crew works efficiently and expertly. They also do seasonal blow outs of your system for a nominal cost.

 

In a nutshell, I GOTTA GUY for almost every job you need doing. Most of the trades that I deal with work between Kelowna and Vernon. From lawyers to home inspectors, hairdressers to pedicures, just give me a call. If I don’t know anyone for your particular need, I will certainly lead you in the right direction to find one.
